She received music instruction under the guidance of Prof. Fumio Koizumi, Ethnomusicolosist.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0She studied Carnatic music at Gt. music college of Tamil Nadu in 1972. Since that time she continued studying and has been active in Veena performing and research work.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">She learned veena from Smt.Rajalakshmi Narayanan,Smt. Kalpakam Swaminathan, Sri M. Nageswara Rao, Smt. M. Sarada,\u00a0Smt. N. Vijayalakshmi. \u00a0She had also rhythm training from Prof. N. Govindarajan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">She had veena concert with Smt.N.Vijayalakshmi by Sri Tyagaraja Samajam, Nadopasana &amp; Sri Ram Samaj(cromepet) in 2007. Veena Navaratri at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan and MLA Concerts by Guru Kaaraikudi Mani(Chennai)in 2013. \u00a0Recently She participates regularly to VEEA MAHOTSAVAM(Chennai) held in September organized by Sri. Kannan Balakrishnan. She also had concerts in Mysore, Udupi and Kannur.
